Dans son projet de master intitulé The Butcher (2023), Tanguy a exploré ces thèmes à travers une fiction créée collectivement, utilisant les outils de représentations comme le théâtre et brouillant la frontière entre réalité et fiction, afin d'explorer la capacité de cette dernière à réengager notre compréhension du la société et ouvrir un espace de débat.

De septembre à novembre 2025, il était en résidence à Santiago du Chili. A travers une exploration artistique et sensible de Quilicura, terres humides menacées par les projets industriels, il a travaillé sur le concept d'interdépendance comme manière de relationner avec humains et les non-humains. Ces relations sont fondamentalement politiques, construites socialement et impliquant des rapports d’égalité, de domination, de coopération ou de conflit.

Ses histoires sont celles de résistances, réelles ou imaginaires. Par exemple Aujourd’hui is a wild animal, réalisée pour l’exposition Compulsives Desires (Galerie Municipale de Porto) présente des scènes à Covas de Barroso (Portugal), dans la forêt de Hambach (Allemagne) et à Lota (Chili). Contre l'assujettissement de la montagne par l'industrie minière, ces scènes dépeignent la montagne, ses forces et ses bêtes, luttant contre l'extractivisme destructeur, par la colère, la célébration et le désir.

In contrast to the mining industry's logic of subjugating the mountain and its inhabitants, these stories depict the mountain, its forces, and beasts fighting extractivism and countering its defuturing effects through indignation, revenge, celebration, and desire.
